Hello
Your content2 div is inside your navbar div. I did a test putting your
content2 div up a level so it becomes a sibling of the navbar div. Then I
gave the navBar div a z-index of 2 and your content2 div a z-index of 1 and
it all worked fine and your menu appeared on top of the text.
